Caribbean Day Sailing

Sailors come to the Caribbean for some of the best sailing in the world.

The Caribbean is known for its wonderful sailing. Vacationers can enjoy a day sail on a powerboat, sailboat, catamaran, or trimaran (a fast sailboat with three parallel hulls). Those wanting to learn to sail can climb aboard special charters that specialize in sailing instruction.

Visitors can charter various types of craft—either bareboat (no crew or skipper) or fully crewed. The ideal winds and proximity of islands--especially in the British Virgin Islands and Grenadines-- and the abundance of secluded coves in which to set anchor make the Caribbean a sailor’s dream.
