Visitors to the Caribbean will find top-notch spas on islands throughout the region. Many of these spas take advantage of the local flowers and fruits, the saltwater, and other island products to create unique beauty and health treatments that are not available anywhere else. For those looking for some pampering or rejuvenation, here are just a few highly rated spas that are sure to please.
The Body Holiday at the all-inclusive Le Sport on St. Lucia has been named to a number of Best Spa lists and has gained worldwide following. Visitors to the Body Holiday appreciate being able to design their own spa treatments, selecting from a full complement of services from golf to massage to yoga to scuba diving to a session with a personal trainer. Guests have an initial consultation and then can either have a program suggested for them or they can choose their own program. Built in the Moorish style, the Oasis is the center of the spa. Here guests can enjoy both relaxing and rejuvenating health and beauty treatments including a dozen different types of massage, seaweed facial treatments, and a salt loofah scrub.
The Ritz-Carlton, San Juan Hotel, Spa, and Casino on the island of Puerto Rico is home to another top-notch spa that offers its own signature treatments.
