American Jeep & Car rental was founded on February 21st 1994 and had it's first day of operation on December 1st the same year. AJCR was formerly established at the Kamerlingh Onnestraat 72 in Oranjestad, the capitol of Aruba. AJRC is a family owned business with Mr. Raj Misier sole ownership. Together with his wife (Bea Misier). The business started with 18 cars. Very soon AJCR realized the necessity which also happened and in four years of operation AJCR has over 70 cars.
AJCR prides itself in service, quality and safety when maintenance is also integral port of our business. AJCR cars are always clean and well maintained. We offer the best quality cars against the lowest rates. We are simply the best, and better than all the rest. We might not have an internationally registered name but we are sure to surprise you once you give us a try.

This is my bad experience with the Aruba American Car Rentals scammers:. When I was returning the rented car back to them in Oranjestad, Aruba, it was about three hours before the airplane’s departure to the States. During returning of the car, as I was backing in their parking lot, I backed into the ramp and broke the back red light. I returned the card to the American Car Rental. The employee there said not to worry about it, because it is only a small damage, as only the rear red light was broken. To my surprise, seven days later I heard from Raj Misier, who claimed to be the owner of American Car Rental. He informed me that he is charging my credit card 1,292 Dollars. When I questioned it, he would not say what was the damage. I believe this is a clear case of fraud. The guy waits a week until I am back in the USA and then he takes a huge amount of money from my credit card. Fortunately, I have an eyewitness and she will contact the credit card regarding the scam American Car Rental is trying to pull. I will see how it will end.

In any event, I recommend against renting cars from this unscrupulous car renting outfit.
