The Crane has preserved the historical flair of the lavish 18th century mansion that is the original centerpiece of the present resort. You need a car if you stay here, but Barbados is better with a car, anyway.
The views from the rooms are spectacular. All rooms are huge with walls of coral stone block. West coast hotels pale in comparison.

We thought the hotel was very nice and we enjoyed a wonderful dinner here. The location is way off of the beaten path and the large multi-floor buildings seem a bit out of place but the property and service are very good.
