Sometimes I feel a little bit more food for the amount of money paid would be nice...I have eaten there more than ten times before it was renovated

I love the island of Barbados. Each time I go I make it a point to visit Brown Sugar. It is the best way to experience the island's delicious cuisine in a unique tropical atmosphere. I highly recommend to all island visitors. Don't miss it!

We ate at this restaurnant in Dec 06 and it was excellent. The service and food was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Have booked again for April 2007.

Haven't been there for 14 years, but it was great when I last visited

Excellent service, delicious food. Will definitely return. The flying fish roll and Barbadian hots starters were particularly good, as was the lamb curry.

We ate their twice during our holiday in Barbados, and the food and wine were fantastic. The service was excellent, and the restaurant was very busy -obviously very popular!!!

Went to this lovely restaurant for the Sunday lunch in Feb 06.The food was amazing and the staff could not be more helpful. We had our eighteen month grandaughter with us but it was no problem at all.We ate at Brown Sugar when it was in the Gap,much prefer its new location.Dont leave Barbados without going to this lovely restaurant.

Terrible service, food at best tasteless. Had an excellent dinner there 3 years ago on returning in January 2006 it was a huge disappointment

My husband and I dined at Brown Sugar many times over the years and always found the food, service, and ambience to be perfect. The last time we were in Barbados, we could not go there because it was closed after having had a fire. I am looking forward to dining again at Brown Sugar next week, when I will be in Barbados.

I went to this restaurant with a couple of friends. We asked for the wine list but were refused on the grounds that it wasn't yet ready. However we were told that we could drink house wine by the glass. It was only when we recieved the bill that it was evident that this was a scam to charge in excess of $30 per glass for wine. Absolutely shocking in well known local restaurant. To add insult to injury the food and wine were not at all special. I would certainly not return to this place.
