Josef's offers international haute cuisine with a fusion of Caribbean and Asian flavours. Josef Schwaiger, one of Barbados' best known chefs, and chef / patron Thomas Harris, have joined to create the best dining atmosphere in Barbados. It is an experience not to be missed and is the perfect location for weddings, large gatherings, or intimate dinners for two. Josef's is open nightly for dinner from 6:30-10pm.

Went twice during our last visit to Barbados in April, and found it just as lovely as we did in 2008. Our favourite starters were the little puff pastry case filled with smoked chicken and mushrooms in a creamy white wine sauce - utterly delicious! And the shredded duck leg pancake with curried dressing is another corker, followed by the beef tenderloin with wonderous potato dauphinois or herb crusted roast lamb. Gentle and charming service from the waitstaff and romantic ocean side dining makes this a must visit.

Not what it once was. The service is still good but the food was average at best. The setting is very nice but everything about the place is showing age and getting shabby.

setting lovely and romantic,service was good ,but the food I have to say was okay,as I visit the island at least twice a year for the last 20 years I last went to josefs in 2006 and the food was very good,but I found it a bit of a let down, and prefered pices, but if you want the best dining experience in barbados you have to go to southern palms exceptional.excellent, pauline Barton joel lancashire.
