Amica Antrobus

Rastafarian Amica specializes in leathercraft, although he has proven talent in other areas of the arts.

Amica likes meeting with his customers one to one. He produces personalized sandals, shoes and bags for many visitors to Barbados; as well as a strong local clientele. In fact, his work has become so popular (especially his leather opened-toed tong sandals ) that he has opened a wonderful shop from where he works on the spot.

He has been involved in many top fashion shows; working alongside local and foreign designers, where their clothes are accessorized with hand-embossed, hand-crafted leather sandals, handbags and bangles. As a one man show, he has promoted Barbadian craft to a higher level.
