UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES order the "Recession" special.
I didn't complain at the time, as I was someone's guest.
For $35, plus 15%, I was served
1/2 glass of cheap Merlot, an appetizer consisting of four(4) 1"x1" corn chips with yesterday's tuna salad dolloped on top, a 4-6oz main course of pasta that had a half of a mushroom diced onto it, and a cup of instant pudding for desert. Waitress was pleasant, but could hardly contain her comments when we ordered.
It's true... you CAN make money during a recession this way. Once. But only once from me.
