Opened in 1992, the Bermuda National Gallery is home to an impressive permanent collection that includes European oil paintings spanning four centuries (the Hereward T. Watlington Collection); contemporary paintings, graphics and sculpture; Bermuda furniture, photographs, paintings and sculpture; African figures and masks; Richard Saunders photos; and a collection of Hale Woodruff prints. The Gallery hosts local and international art exhibitions throughout the year and also offers lectures, tours, children’s art camps, and a full education programme through local schools. Admission is free. Open 10 am–4 pm Mondays through Saturdays.
