The newly built Santa Clara (also called the Niņa II) is a 115-foot replica of a 15th Century Columbus Sailing Ship. The ship is docked at Safehaven in the Ritz Carlton Canal. The Santa Clara is available for day sailing trips, sunset cruises and private charters in the calm waters of the North Sound.
On deck, the ship is rigged and sailed as ships were 500 years ago and there is cushioned bench seating for 100 people. Down below, the 800 square foot air-conditioned main salon and galley is finished in wood, granite and marble from Brazil, which includes a galley and male and female restrooms. Guests can relax, have a drink and a snack, shop for souvenirs, or watch a video on our flat screen TV's of the ship being built in the Brazilian jungle.
