The largest of the Netherlands Antilles, Curaçao is known for its diverse cultures and Dutch heritage.

With 68 dive sites and a national marine park, Curaçao, located 38 miles off the coast of Venezuela, attracts scuba divers from around the world. Within the 12 1/2 mile underwater park, divers can explore coral beds, steep walls, and a number of shipwrecks.

Its picturesque capital Willemstad, with its pastel-colored houses and government buildings, offers visitors much to see and do: world-class shopping, museums, historic buildings, a botanic garden, and excellent restaurants serving international culinary treats and local specialties like rijsttafel (rice table), iguana soup, and fish soup with coconut.
