There are two beautiful, private white sand beaches, an infinity freshwater pool, spa, casino and variety of dining options.
Rated by Mary H. on 04/23/11 Curacao was incredible. The beaches were beautiful and the snorkeling plentiful. There was even a sunken tug boat for us to snorkel around. The locals are friendly and there wasn't any time on our vacation that I didn't feel safe.
The Hilton is a nice hotel. It would have been nice to have a complimentary refrigerator in the room (there was a $10/day charge for one). Wifi throughout the hotel would have been nice too. The only wifi was in the Diamond Club lounge. This is 2011, every hotel should have wifi throughout the hotel. We enjoyed themed nights at the hotel's restaurants. There was a beach bbq night and an American steak night. The morning breakfast buffet was good, but the cook to order eggs and waffles took forever. The room was spacious and nicely decorated.
I would recommend renting a car to explore the island. Everything is well marked so it's easy to get around.
The shops (and booths) in Willamstad are only open during the day.
Have lunch at Fort Nassau. It overlooks Willamstad.
The best beach we found was Porto Mari. Great snorkeling. However, there is a small entrance fee and a small fee for a lounge chair. Get there early if you want shade and a chair! The bar & grill at that beach had a decent lunch. In addition to lunch, they serve drinks and snacks.
Bring snorkel equipment with you. It was $17/day to rent for each of us. It cost us $100 each to purchase for the week.
