The zoo is small but a lot of fun for children. It features tropical plants and a wide variety of animals from the Caribbean area and South America.There are monkeys, lions, bears, crocodiles, other mammals and a lot of birds. There's a nature and environment center where children can learn all about the difference and similarities between the senses of humans and all kinds of animals. There are two playgrounds and a childrens farm where children can ride a horse and pet and even feed animals like rabbits, donkeys, pigs, goats and sheep. Next to the zoo is a botanical garden. Open Monday through Friday from 8 to 12 and 1 to 3, Saturday from 8 to 1. Free admission
