The Hippocamp (Latin for seahorse) dive operation is based in the town of Sosua, only 20 kilometers from the Puerto Plata International airport. Hippocamp provides scuba diving service to several large hotels on the north shore including Cabarete and is a PADI registered diving centre. All instructors are fully certified professionals and are multilingual individuals.
