Situated on 14 acres in a lush tropical garden setting, The Point Village Resort earns its name from its Jamaican village-like atmosphere and the fact that it is located on picturesque Rutland Point where Negril's famous seven-mile beach ends and spectacular Bloody Bay Beach begins.

The property is beautiful in its diversity. It features two white sand beaches and spectacular cliffs complete with grottos - perfect for snorkeling. Swim in the fresh-water swimming pool, relax in the Jacuzzi or spend the day in the unique, refreshing Rock Pools. (The Rock Pools are carved from the ironshore that are filled with the lapping waves from the Caribbean Sea.)

The resort caters to singles, couples, families and groups. The 140 air-conditioned rooms are all equipped with cable television, kitchenette, telephone, and private balcony or patio with a view of either the captivating Caribbean Sea or our gorgeous gardens.

I think it is the most beautiful resort in that area. The grounds are exquisite, great for local snorkeling and the staff is 1st class.

I am hoping to buy some property in the future at the Point.
