Casa de Ramón Power y Girault
Headquarters for the Conservation Trust of Puerto Rico. In this house, Don Ramón Power y Giralt was born on October 27, 1775, to a family of landowners. At age 34, he was elected to be the representative for Puerto Rico in the Spanish Courts. During his incumbency, he won many important economic and political reforms for his country. The house has been restored, it also serves as a conservation resource center, in which critical environmental issues can be explored through an interactive multimedia exhibition entitled OJO-ISLA. Open Tuesday through Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
