A 18 century house, today is a museum and library devoted to the art of printing and book-making. Home to nearly 5,000 rare works of all kinds including sketches, illustrations and ancient manuscripts, the institution boasts 350 works predating the 16th century. Among the museum’s most precious possessions are two royal mandates signed by Ferdinand and Isabella in 1493 concerning provisioning Columbus' fleet for his second voyage, during which Puerto Rico was discovered.
