Mediocre, exceptionally overpriced food (even for St. Thomas standards) was not improved with poor service and incorrect billing at the end of the meal. As a resident of St. Thomas, I will never visit this restaurant again. I will need to live twice if I continue to dine here! More »

I own a condo in St. Thomas and go there 3 to 4 times a year. If there's one thing I do everytime I come back, it's dining at Havana Blue. The atmosphere and the food are superb. The food portions are always the right amount unlike the huge dishes you typically get in American restaurants. I've brought family and friends and they too love eating there. Food was good but they ripped us off on price. When he said it was $25, I said how did you add that up. He said the prices where in Jamacia dollars. He made some money. The cook picks up all the scraps and puts them in a bag and then continues cooking. No hand washing. We ordered pork ribs, pulled pork, 1/2 each, roasted sweet potatoes, rice and beans. More »

Horrible sushi. I sent back a role and actually saw the teen age looking chef, eat it with his bare hands in the kitchen. I told the manager, and nothing was done. I eat sushi regularly, and this was horrible. Smelled like old fish. More »

I have called the number posted. It's disconnected! I called the main reservations office also. Most there didn't even know that St. Thomas was an island! They kept asking "what state is that in...?" This specific Thrifty closes early, 5:00 pm...so make sure you fly according to their schedual...because yours isn't important! Plus, "Carnival" is going on 04-16/04-29. It's the busiest time of the year for the island...one would think they would stay open later to accomodate the influx of tourist. NOPE! Good luck finding anything especially from this company. I will never use them again! Regardless of where I travel. More »

The restaurant is on a little island near Leverick Bay. If you call to make a reservation they will arrange for a water taxi to pick you up at Leverick Bay and drop you back off. the restaurant itself is large and has a buffet and a la carte menu. My food was good but I don't recall it being a standout...just kind of cool to take a water taxi for dinner. More »

I had a great trip to Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico with my brother last week. We fished with Capt Francisco “Pochy” Rosario. We learned a ton of information by fishing with this guy. The transition from trout to tarpon is not easy, & there are several freshwater habits that become Tarpon losing mistakes. Mistake #1): the trout high stick #2) forgetting the strip set #3) palming the reel on Tarpon. Although we were warned, I think my brother and I managed make all 3 mistakes, but we still caught some fish. If you want to catch a Tarpon, Puerto Rico is the place to go. They are all over the place and are not transitory.
The Fishing in Cabo Rojo was very good and in a beautiful area. We fished for baby tarpon along mangrove lined lagoons, & cast to fish cruising in the shadows of boats and docks, and poled and drifted over a couple beautiful flats.
The highlight of the trip was sight casting to a couple of tarpon from the beach about 10 feet from the boat. These guys had their face in the sand and tails sticking out of the water like a couple of tailing redfish. We hooked 4 Tarpon in about an hour and grabbed the leader on 2. I lost one about 50 feet from the beach after palming the reel causing the shock tippet to abrade. Yeah, I won’t make that mistake again. We had an awesome trip. Puerto Rico is a beautiful island, the people are great and the Tarpon are always there.

This is a great spot to stop for a quick bite when visiting the Baths. It is a super casual, inexpensive, and very small sandwich stop with a wrap around deck and roosters running around outside. Definitely one of a kind. More »

They have a wonderful beach side BBQ on Friday nights with live music and dancing. The food is great, reasonably priced. They've built on here too and it has become a lovely place for casual wedding receptions. I recommend trying their painkiller! More »

chartered with conch twice. first 37 mono next 37 cat. both were no doubt used boats, both trips were 10 day vacations.both trips were the best vacations ive ever had and when i got home i wished i was still there. had no problems with either boat ,none.the staff was very helpful and friendly.sailed both trips in july and only regret was no air at night, with nightly rains it would have been nice to close the hatches and sleep all night. good thing is conch now has boats with air because next next charter wlii again be with them. the sails were a little stained, but so is the money in my wallet i saved from chartering with conch.
