Truthfully a visit to St. Croix is not complete without a visit to Buck Island with Llewellyn and if you can catch him singing at Cheesburgers in Paradise then anything else you do is just icing on the cake during your visit. When I think of Calypso music and the traditional songs of the islands Llewellyn first comes to mind. I’ve known Llewellyn for most of my 46 years and he represents what the island experience is all about. “Limin” with Llewellyn will be one of the most memorable parts of your stay. More »

I agree with Bob Farina. Do not rent from buster rent a car. car was in horrible condition, given to us with no fuel and a near flat tire. We rented the vehicle from the valentin imperial maya resort, thinking it would be reputable. The morning we returned the car, there was a flat tire, my husband and the buster rep. changed the tire with a spare (baloney skin in the trunk). and we were sent on our way, with no one available to take care of paperwork and return our credit voucher. For the next 3 days of we tried to get in touch with someone from buster regarding the credit card voucher, there was never anyone at the desk who could help us and were told over and over that someone would be there in the afternoon. After arriving home we realized that they charged our credit card $400.39, car rental had already been paid for. when we called to inquire about the charge we were told it was for 2 tires. The original flat tire and the bald spare that "we ruined because we drove on it for too long". never drove on it at all. So unless you want to get ripped off-dont rent from buster!!!!!!!! More »

We love these guys! We've chartered with Conch 3 times now, and the level of service we've always gotten is great. They have been flexible when we had to shift dates by a couple of days, and absolutley fantastic on the occasion we did need a repair. I don't mind an older boat - as long as we're paying for airfare, I'd rather use the charter savings to afford 2 weeks instead of 1. I'd highly recommend them. They'll be glad to talk to you about recommending a boat in their fleet that would fit your needs. More »

Found by accident on way back to airport. Has become a must stop every year since. Great atmosphere, food, truly makes you feel like you are in the caribbean on vacation. I only hope I can convince the owner to sell it to me in a few years when I retire.

I am a white English architect male on a good salary. But my visit to Cave Shepherd is one of astonishment for two reasons: The way how most staff treated local black-skinned Bajans and the manner in which white tourists and light-skinned blacks stood by and watched the disgraceful treatment of Black English tourists. I am now beginning to see why black Bajans and black tourists display resentment to the gentrification of Barbados West. This is discrimination of a subtle and cowardly form. My daughter is fully white and 6 years old – she thankfully embarrassed one member of staff by pointing out loud to me that a (black) woman was ignored in favour of two other (white) customers. Dear Air St. Kitts/Nevis Team

We are desperately looking for a flight from Antigua to Guadeloupe on Saturday August 9th, 2008.

May we kindly ask you to give as any advice how we can get a possibility for transfer. Our travel operator here in Switzerland obtained only the flight for August 1st 2008 from Guadeloupe to Antigua but not the flight back (all flights are fully booked). My husband must to be in Guadeloupe August 9th for business reasons and we have tried to get other posibilities to get to Guadeloupe - so far the only possibility would be to fly first to Domenica - can that be ?

We really would appreciate if you would be so kind to give us an address to contact to obtain an airfare ticket to get from Antigua to Guadeloupe August 9th 2008.

Well it's been 10 years since Tanya planned our Anguilla Wedding and we were married on Meads Bay in front of Frangipani. I can't tell you the number of people we have recommended to have an Anguilla wedding.
We spent the afternoon before our wedding playing at the beach and relaxing in a hammock...a totally stress free wedding in one of the most beautiful places. Rockland did a great job with our photos and video as well.
We still correspond by email and visit with Tanya and Rockland when we are back on Anguilla.
Thanks for a great wedding, 10 years of fantastic memories and most of all your friendship.

I agree their service (in the store) is wonderful, but I have written them at least 7 times regarding replacement watch bands for a Philip Stein Diamond Watch I purchased last year and as of this writing, no one has gotten back in touch with me. That is not good customer service, especially since I was dealing with the store manager. More »

Horrible experience this visit (April 2008). Charged us for 3 days when only rented for 2. Accused of losing keys to a vehicle we never used, and said we rented a vehicle we never did. Just a bad experience after 2 great ones with ISIS. Will not use them again. More »

My wife and I have been to St John several times over the past 10 years so we've gotten used to slightly higher prices for nearly everything. But, are you kidding me? C&B's prices were significantly higher than others and the portions were smaller than any I've ever seen in a restaurant.
We won't be making that mistake again!

I just spent seven days there and was very disappointed. The grounds where beautiful and the accommodations were ok but the service was awful. There was no bartender, just a “butler” if that’s what you want to call him. He was frequently gone and if he was there you would always have to go and find him. We made most of our own drinks. The maids and boatman were very accommodating but food service was very poor and slow. To me the food is a very important part of a vacation like this, and it was not very impressive. We will not be returning! More »

The worst service ever! Just got back from my honeymoon and could not believe the attitude and the horrible staff. Not that great for the price. I mean if I am paying high prices I expect to be treated with respect and shown a great experience. Slow, pompous service. Lose the attitude and this could be a very good place. More »

I took my family of 6 to Havana Blue last night (ages 4-12) and although I agree that the place is not really geared toward kids, the staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. There is a kids menu (which is unheard of for a place like this) and they have crayons and coloring books for kids. Havana Blue is located on the Marriott property which is very family oriented. The food and ambience at Havana Blue is incredible. This is a must try experience. More »
