Robert Trent Jones, Sr. designed Carambola as eighteen holes of the most beautiful and challenging golf in the Caribbean. Built in 1966 by Laurance Rockefeller, winner of Golf Magazine's Gold Medal Award. Carambola hosts the American Airlines Golf Classic featuring major league baseball players, and the Konica Classic featuring LPGA players.
The Club features a pro shop, driving range, and The Terrace restaurant which is a must-stop, even for non-golfers. Playing a challenging 6,843 yards from the blue tee and is nestled in the valley at the start of the rain forest, the scenery, foliage and wildlife is exceptional.
