Wake up to a gorgeous sunrise and the sound of gentle waves at Rendezvous by the Sea, a new three bedroom, and three and a half bath luxury villa with a spectacular up-close view of Rendezvous Bay. A two minute walk takes you to a private stairway that leads to very good snorkeling and swimming, or relax on the pool deck where you can look 50 feet down into the clear, turquoise waters of the Caribbean. If you're patient you'll see a turtle feeding or maybe some tropical fish swimming among the reefs. The house faces east - southeast with excellent views of Rendezvous Bay, Ditliff Point and the south shore of St. John. Rendezvous is an easy ten minute drive from Cruz Bay, but with its peaceful and quiet location, you'll think that you're on your own island.

Completed in January 2001, this is a spacious, very attractive and unique home with excellent privacy for all bedrooms. The main house contains a half bath, the large living, dining and kitchen areas, a very private master bedroom/bath and a fully screened porch deck. Separated by the pool, a second building contains upper and lower master bedroom/baths with screened porches.

All three bedrooms are master bedrooms with private balconies overlooking the Caribbean. One bedroom (king bed) is in the main house, while air conditioned the second and third bedrooms are located in a separate wing on the other side of the pool. The second bedroom has a king bed plus a twin in the alcove, and the third bedroom has two double beds, one of which is an antique brass bed. These bedrooms have small TV/VCRs and screened in decks with built in benches and tiled tables. Hand painted furniture, antique chairs and colorful artwork is found throughout. The unique baths contain many charming features such as hand painted Mexican double sinks, hand woven rugs on Italian tiled floors, and tiled countertops and showers. A pullout bed in the TV room and the extra twin in the second bedroom provide bedding for an additional three people.

Cathedral ceilings, tiled floors and a large porch deck give the living areas an expansive yet comfortable feeling. The furnishings are eclectic, with Persian rugs, mahogany and cane Planter's chairs and oriental lamps mixed in with lots of fun artwork on the walls. An entertainment room off the kitchen has the TV/VCR(no cable) and stereo/cassette/CD. There is a formal dining table that seats eight in the dining room, or you may dine on the porch deck, or at the table for four on the pool deck.

The kitchen is superb, a real cook's delight that is unusually well equipped. A wet bar with bar stools for six allows the party to begin in the kitchen and end on the screened porch with a romantic candlelight dinner overlooking the bay.
