At La Haut Plantation you have a choice of three balconies to sit on, and each boasts a beautiful view of the Pitons, Soufrière, and the Caribbean Sea. The plantation grows its own vegetables and herbs so your food is guaranteed fresh. Try the local spinach crêpes, or pasta. Seafood lovers will savor the fish cakes, calamari, and the fresh catch of the day that might be Kingfish, Dorado, or Snapper. The curried goat and jerk pork are other authentic choices. After your meal stroll the grounds and visit Sam and Charlie, two resident turtles that live in the plantation’s pond. Smart-casual to business-dressy attire. Reservations suggested.
Restaurant is known for using fresh local produce, natural seasonings and quality ingredients. Make all their sauces, dressings like basil pesto, creole sauce, tamarind sauce, lime ginger. Great fresh local juices with little sugar. Breakfast special cocoa tea! Food is tasty, reasonably priced and good for you.
