This waterside restaurant serves Southern Caribbean cuisine inspired by the region’s many influences, including African, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Dutch. Excellent appetizers include a silky conch chowder and Crab Farci, stuffed and served in the shell. Many authentic and unusual dishes are on the menu. The adventurous will want to try the Trinidad rule Jol, which is salted codfish with tomatoes, onions, lime juice, and pepper sauce. An excellent regional dish is the Barbados souse. Lean pieces of pork are marinated and cooked to perfection. Many nights the restaurant features a steel drum band or other live entertainment. Smart-casual attire. Reservations accepted.
