harry edwards is one of the most pleasant establishments to shop in that i have ever been to. the sales associates are well educated about the products and the products the offer are all genuine. as a local customer i have purchased from them many times and will continue to do so in the future.

Bought a Phillip Stein watch for a gift. When I got home and gave it to my son-in-law, it didn't work. It took me 10 weeks to get the watch back and in the meantime they sent me two invoices for $75 each for repair. Will never buy anything from them again at least not until I make sure repair is not needed in order to wear it. Marie Minnemeyer

On Dec 22nd /08, I was waiting for a flight back to Canada, in the departure lounge on the ground level at Hewanorra air port in St. Lucia. I was looking at the Rolex Submariner watches at the Harry Edwards duty free store. I'm no expert but I do know all Rolex watches have seial numbers and holograms on the back case of thier watchs. The watch the lady showed me had none. I asked where is the serial and she pointed to the plastic tag tied to the watch with a string. Harry Edwards is selling fake Rolex watches. Interesting he sells them at the departure terminal of an air port, maybe he hopes you won't be back.

I asked for price on a watch. I understood it to be $145. I saw that the suggested retail price was $179, but you NEVER pay the MSRP, When the sale was rung up, I was charged the full price. When I questioned it, the clerk insisted she had quoted me $179, so I cancelled the sale. Came home to the states and found the exact watch on line at a jeweler in Ohio for $99, with free shipping!
Go figure!

On March 7, 2007 I brought my Rolex Datejust in for repair (the crown gasket had failed). repair ticket was 0610. I was charged $550.00 for service, repair, and changing of crown and gasket. In August 2007 I had to take the watch to my local shop for repair. He told me the gaskets had not been replaced (they had used a crystal bead type adhesive).
This repair cost me another $400.00. Caveat Emptor.

i was absolutely mortified and completely taken aback when i was exhibited an excusbible level of rudeness and blatant disrespect by one of the Harry Edwards Representatives, i believe her name was Janya (sp??) I believe that the establishments like H.E.J who's repututations are either made or broken by the persons who present them on the front counter should be a bit more deligent and particular with whom they employ.

Disgruntled and Dismayed...C.G

On 12/113/05 my husband and I visited your store in St. Lucia.

I admired and purchased a Lladro. The young lady rang up our sale and had trouble fitting the piece into the box. Then she noticed a "green spec" which was actually one of the leaves from the flowers.

When I brought this to her attention she replied that she had already said that it was $10 off the original price. Her supervisor offered another $10.00 off.

Since we had to leave to catch our ship, we could not wait to have her recredit our account ad refuse the sale.

I have checked with dealers on the ship and other dealers locally and they all agree with me that this piece should never have been sold - because it was damaged!

I hardly think that taking $10.00 of an item that was $300.00 was adequate.

Since it was damaged, it no longer had any value as a "Lladro" which I wanted to add to my collection. I have all or the original boxers and sales slips.

Paying almost $300 for something that is damaged and has no value does not make good sense to me - and it should not have been suggesed by your store.

What can you do to make this right for me and what kind of value do you think this item has right now?

I anxiously await your response.

The slip number is 1886 and the $281 was c harged to our MC account.
