We used Budget care rental at the Airport and it worked very well, pickup and return went like clock work.

We stayed on both sides of the Island, on the Dutch side the Divi Little Bay, they are currently under renovation, but they were very accommodating and kept noise to a minimum, there were a number of restaurants in Simpson Bay we enjoyed. The beach at the Divi was small but very nice the views were spectacular of the Cruise ships on one side and the hills on the other. 

On the French side we stayed at the Caribbean Princess on the Orient Beach, great beach.  The restaurants we enjoyed most were directly on the beach, Baywatch and Waikiki Beach, we also dined alot in Grand Case, the open air restaurants were the best.  Of course Phillipsburg is the best for shopping, and the newly constructed shopping street is fantastic.  I'am sure we will be back again soon.
