Rated by Sally on 01/23/09 Alex and co make Calmos Cafe the hotspot in Grand Case - boats moored up make the bay view even prettier - feel the sand under your feet and the great atmosphere whilst sipping cocktails and munching on well prepared food. Beach beds during the day free for those who eat. The cute staff add flavour too! Live Salsa bands and torchlight on the beach after dark keep this place throbbing at the seams with happy dancin' people. Great place - Don't miss it! We go whenever we are in Grand Case on vacation - it is a must do!

Alex and his staff are the most friendly and accommodating friends and make you feel welcome and right at home. Food and drinks are excellent and atmosphere is perfect for fun or romance at any age.

Rated by Robert on 08/02/08 Found by accident on way back to airport. Has become a must stop every year since. Great atmosphere, food, truly makes you feel like you are in the caribbean on vacation. I only hope I can convince the owner to sell it to me in a few years when I retire.

Rated by Peter on 01/16/08 I have been going to St. Martin for the last 15 years and i have to say, Calmos Cafe is far and away the best lunch/dinner establishment on the island. The Boathouse in Simpson Bay is good, but Calmos gives you the best of both worlds: top quality food and A+ service coupled with a beach that only God could have created. Beyond friendly service, great cocktails, awesome nightlife, pristine pale blue water, beautiful views = Calmos Cafe at Grand Case, St. Maartin FWI.

Rated by katie MacIntosh on 01/04/08 This is the BEST place on the Island....beach chairs, a bottle of rose, day turns into night and you get a lantern on your table and live music, still in your beach chairs. meatballs are awesome, beware: the "Nachos" are Nacho Cheese flavored Doritos, but the staff and ambience MORE than makes up for it. Cute boutique, too!

Rated by Chris on 09/02/07 I was just watching our family vacation from 2004 and felt the need to post that for anyone visiting St. Maartin it is an absolute must to visit Calmos Cafe. We had about 12 family members there and spent the entire day. It's great because it's right on the beach. This place is a 10 out of 10. You have to go there.
Rated by Jamie on 02/11/07 Calmos is excellent! I have been there 3 times and love the atmosphere. The foo dhas been great each time -- I must add that I am a very picky eater. The water is pratically at your feet as you dine. The sunsets are amazing. The staff is fantastic, they really make it a great experience. I will go there each time I visit St. Martin.
