l'Hibiscus
St. Martin Restaurants
A little off the center of main street through Grand Case, just walk a bit further then the lolo's, then on the right you will find this little Antillean home where they serve very nice French food. The inside of the restaurant is unique. If you like bright colors, this is the place! The food prepared by Chef Thierry Delaunay is very original as well, combining French cuisine with the flavors and spices of the Caribbean. If after week on the island you are looking for something else as the 'same old French food', but still can't get enough of it, this would be the place to visit! Very popular with the locals, not yet discovered by the tourists. New in our top 5!

Rated by Chris on 09/03/08 We had dinner at l'Hibiscus in Aug of 2008. Overall, the experience was pretty poor. The food was very bland and poorly seasoned. We found the menu to be overpriced, even in comparison with other St. Maarten establishments. Our bill was $150.00 US for a moderately priced bottle of wire, two entrees and an appetizer. The service was adequate, but not friendly. I would not return to this restaurant.
