Hervé Restaurant opened in April 1996 and is considered one of the top restaurants in the Virgin Islands. The cuisine is a mix of contemporary American and classic French with Caribbean influences.
Hervé offers a casual menu for lunch: quiche, crepes, spectacular salads, conch fritters and various seafoods, sandwiches and hot entrées. Always air-conditioned at lunchtime, all guests enjoy a 270 degree view of the harbor and historic town from the glass-enclosed dining rooms.
In the evening, the twinkling lights of Denmark Hill surround the restaurant; the candles are lit and the ambiance is relaxed and romantic! The extensive dinner menu offers over thirteen seafood and fresh fish dishes along with twelve meat and poultry entrées, like filet mignon, venison, duck - even quail. Favorite specials are Bouillabaisse in a Pernod, saffron broth or classic surf ‘n’ turf.
The award-winning wine list consists of California and French varieties at every price range, including 25 wines by the glass. A full service bar satisfying every martini drinker or frozen mango sipper is available.
Since Hervé Restaurant opened in 1996, they have enjoyed glowing recommendations in Gourmet Magazine, The New York Times, The Washington Post, and 4 stars in Fielding’s Guide.
