King's Bay Cafe
Tobago Restaurants
We have just renovated and opened an airy informal café with sweeping ocean views overlooking King’s Bay. The King’s Bay Café is located on the Main Road at Flagmoor Turn just at the eastern edge of Delaford. They are perfectly situated to visit us on the way to Charlotteville for a light meal, or coffee and dessert.
The Kings Bay Café’s menu is updated daily. We are open for lunch and early evening meals. Reservations are not necessary.
Grilled fish, meats and vegetables, oven fresh bread, international dishes with local ingredients and of course the local favorites are what we are about. We always have freshly brewed coffee and dessert.
We will try our best to cater to your needs, even if it is not on the daily menu. We can create children's meals.
Come and relax, enjoy the view, play cards, backgammon, or just “catch” the breeze on our veranda while you have your meal or beverage.
King's Bay Cafe offers excellent cuisine in a wonderful, relaxed atmosphere along with reasonable prices and friendly service.

Rated by Paul and Ritva on 06/19/09 We enjoyed our well timed coffee brake with Joanne and Michael as a heavy shower caught us in Feb 2009. It was a pleasure meeting the owners while having the best cup of coffee for miles around. We will be back for more.

Rated by Sam Goldman on 01/10/09 I've been coming to Tobago for many years and this is surely among the best meals I've ever had here.
Friendly prompt service, immaculately clean kitchen which owners Joanne and Mike took great pride in showing off.
Very unusual to have fresh, grilled meat (I had the lamb chops) on this island. A must stop.
Rated by g. whyte on 01/04/09 The first time we visited we had grilled chicken and grilled king fish as we sat overlooking Kings Bay.The food was as fresh as they said it would be. It was a pleasure to have a good cup of coffee with a refill for free. The best brownies we have ever had. Mike and Joanne were very nice hosts and it was a pleasure to be with them. We visited several times while on the island and were very happy that they have a one price fits all, as many other places had a much higher price for tourists.
Rated by Editor on 12/29/08 New Yorker Michael Messenger along with his English wife Joanne Cropper, have created their vision of a relaxed Caribbean cafe. Unlike most of the other dining spots in the area, Messenger and Cropper cook wonderful local cuisine to order. Here you can enjoy a great meal, a wonderful view, and service with a smile. This is a don't miss during your visit to Tobago. While reservations are not necessary I recommend that you call ahead if you have a large group. Enjoy!
