This fabulous home sits high atop Luck Hill, overlooking famous Cane Garden Bay and the U.S. Virgin Islands beyond, one of the most unforgettable views in the Caribbean. A winding mountain road leads you to this luxurious, very sophisticated and elegantly furnished hideaway, blessed with the most staggering view of the ocean and thirteen green islands beyond that we've ever seen! The rare natural beauty and surroundings of Arundel melt away the hustle and bustle of busy living and allow you, once again, to live in harmony with nature. Surrounded by palm trees, orchids, hibiscus, bougainvillea, gardenias and birds-of-paradise, the professionally landscaped grounds command spectacular, panoramic ocean views from every suite. Looking out across the horizon from Cane Garden Bay Beach, your eyes sweep past the mountains of Tortola in the west, to St. Johns and St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, across the Sir Francis Drake Channel, to thirteen more British and U.S. Virgin Islands.

We are pleased to make Arundel available to you, our discriminating guests from around the world who appreciate the tasteful ambience of the finest materials and furnishings and the casual atmosphere that assures a restful vacation! The three pavilions of Arundel consist of the three separate buildings interconnected by terraced decks and marble tiled walkways. The pavilions encompass 7,100 square feet of living space and feature gleaming mahogany hardwood, Venetian marble-tiled floors, and handcrafted natural stone walls.

The three pavilions of Arundel house the palatial master suite, complete with tatami reading room, grand marble bath, and private deck. Arundel's living, dining, and kitchen areas are in the second pavilion with a stylish wet bar, superb stereo system with CD's for every taste, a baby grand piano, and alfresco dining by the pool and hot tub. The third pavilion consists of three bedrooms on two levels; its main level offers two opulently furnished bedrooms with a marble bath in between and inspiring sea views from each of their private decks. The fourth bedroom/bath suite is on the level just below, with a private garden patio. All bedrooms are air conditioned and each is lavishly equipped with cable TV, VCR, a CD player, mini-fridge, safe, and Arundel bathrobes. Each suite has its own private balcony overlooking the ocean where you can watch the passing boats and acrobatic pelicans. The architectural ingenuity and sitting of each room captures the trade winds and views of thirteen U.S. and British Virgin Islands. While soft tropical breezes flow through the house year-round, all suites are equipped with air conditioning and ceiling fans. Additional amenities include shampoo/conditioners, milled scented soaps, hair dryers, terry-cloth robes and ample supplies of beach and bath towels. All four suites are furnished with Balinese bamboo beds and are decorated with original Haitian and Caribbean paintings, and even a hand-made Voodoo tapestry. In each room, you can curl up in one of our terry-cloth robes on your private deck where you can enjoy your morning coffee or a cocktail at dusk while watching the incredible sunsets that fill the skies with rich blazes of color.

The Main House, in the center of the complex, contains a spacious living room furnished with elegant, elephant bamboo sofas, chairs and tables by Linda Garland from Bali, antique chests from Korea, lovely Asian bird and floral prints, and even a colorful 18-foot oriental dragon high up in the cathedral ceiling. Chinese porcelain vases and original antiques accent each room. From the extensive 500 CD carousel, you can listen to the music of your choice. Professional Bose Indoor and outdoor speakers assure hours of soothing music throughout the living room, dining room, swimming pool and deck areas. In the dining room, a large glass-topped table supported by four stone warriors easily seats ten people comfortably in Chinese Chippendale chairs. The music room is graced with an ebony baby grand piano for your enjoyment, and a wet bar with icemaker. A powder room is conveniently located off the entrance foyer. The fully equipped gourmet kitchen contains a professional Viking stove, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher and a complete range of appliances.

The living areas are superbly furnished with upholstered elephant bamboo and enhanced by many momentos and treasures from around the world. But the allure of Arundel is out on the expansive garden terrace, set with the hot tub and pool and edged by tropical gardens with orchids and herbs. Serenity is provided by the gurgling fountain and active fish pond. Here on the sunny deck you'll marvel at the long-distance sea views and gorgeous sunsets as your cares melt away. Unique, beautifully finished and very deluxe, you'll be absolutely pampered at secluded Arundel. Our newest addition is our 1,300 square-foot marble deck that stretches to the horizon. This space features a new six person hot tub -- perfect for sunset cocktails or dining under the stars! The marble and mahogany deck is complemented with teak steamer chairs and teak patio furniture. Delicate wind chimes capture soft breezes and the hot tub Jacuzzi provides lazy relaxation. From the deck, jump into our spacious L-shaped swimming pool lined with custom made California "wave" tiles and surrounded by a lush garden, in the midst of which sits a 17th century Laughing Buddha. Nearby, a fountain splashes down a natural rock wall. The pool is equipped with an automatic ionized filtration system that purifies the water with little chlorine. Swim all day under sunny skies and at night under a romantic canopy of millions of twinkling stars. A portable telephone is available and a gas grill allows for casual outdoor barbecues.

You and your guests will be pampered in complete privacy on one and one-half acres of fenced property with no adjacent neighbors. Or, you can enjoy Cane Garden Bay Beach and Brewer's Bay Beach, two of the world's most beautiful beaches just minutes away from Arundel.
