Brandywine Bay Restaurant

Tortola Restaurants

Enjoying your aperitif on Brandywine Bay's flagstone terrace affords a lofty view of the Sir Francis Drake Channel and delights all of your senses.

A la carte menu features a culinary fusion of French Mediterranean Cuisine with West Indian Flavors and Pacific Rim Flair.

French born Chef Eric Brunel has worked in various Michelin Star and Relais & Chateaux restaurants around the world. His experience is highlighted by his 3 years at the world famous Ritz Hotel in Paris which is home of the Ritz Escoffier Culinary School. Eric has also attended a Fusion Cuisine course with Ecole Lenótre Paris in 2008. Chef Eric has worked in Bermuda, the Turks and Caicos Islands and the British Virgin Islands. A yearning to become more acquainted with the Pacific Cuisine took him to Bora Bora, Taha'a (the Vanilla Island) and New Caledonia.

Chef Eric Brunel has appeared on the Travel Channel, PBS and TFI (French Channel), collaborated in books ("Conch recipes" and "Recipes of Luxury Hotels of the World")

Chef Eric's concept: Create balance and harmony between ingredients by respecting the taste and texture of each of them. Serve up great food in a warm gastro bistro atmosphere.

No wonder Brandywine Bay is one of the most unique restaurants in all of the British Virgin Islands - and all of the Caribbean.

A must stop on every trip to the BVIs.

This is by far the best dining experience I have had on Tortola. The ambiance, location, lighting, service, food presentation and taste were comparable to any fine dining restaurant internationally. I celebrated my birthday there and was duly impressed. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning.

Brandywine is one of the finest dining experiences I have ever had. Davide, the chef and owner is is just as original as his cuisine.

Extremely beautiful place, pretty good service, the food is good. Its great for the BVI, but not for $250 for two people including a $50 bottle of wine. Its just not worth that kind of money. Davide also owns Cappricio di Mare in Road Town which is a proper little Italian cafe with excellent food at excellent prices and is the better deal.

We began our BVI vacation by dining at Brandywine Bay Restaurant. Absolutely the best decision we made! Great food, wonderful environment and VERY relaxing. We held all other dining events up to the standard that Brandywine Bay set.

A visit to Brandywine Bay Restaurant on the final day of our sailing holiday in the BVI is a must do. The experience and majical setting has only one equal and that is the meal prepared by Chef Davide.

The evening was magical with drinks on the terrace and the dinner most delightful and romantic. Chef Davide has captured a fantasy with location and cuisine.

One of the finest dining experiences I have had anywhere, period. The service is excellent, and the food is fresh from begining to end. I would highly encourage anyone to visit.
