Brandywine Bay Restaurant
Tortola Restaurants
Enjoying your aperitif on Brandywine Bay's flagstone terrace affords a lofty view of the Sir Francis Drake Channel and delights all of your senses.
A breath of warm wind traces lightly across your shoulders. Lapping waves below rhythmically accompany intimate conversation. Sparkling stars enchant as the moon waltzes with the clouds.
And when Chef Davide Pugliese personally introduces you to a palette of mouthwatering treats that blend the best of the Caribbean and his Tuscan heritage, your senses are enticed again.
The menu changes nightly, but the quality never varies. Appetizers like beef carpaccio or grilled portobello mushrooms are presented with a simple elegance.
Anticipation builds as you delight in the aroma from your roast duck resting in mango sauce. Not surprisingly, you are momentarily distracted by your dining partner's thick grilled veal chop or fish that was caught that morning.
If you prefer, ask Davide for a special vegetarian entrée.
Finally, savor the sweetness of tiramisu or contrasting tastes of vin santo e biscotti for dessert.
Chef Davide sources the freshest local fish, herbs and vegetables and imports other exotic seasonal ingredients from around the world. Cele, his Australian wife, sees to it that you'll have the finest wines from France, Italy, Australia and America to pair with your meal. With Brandywine's friendly staff, Davide and Cele fulfill your every whim.
No wonder Brandywine Bay is one of the most unique restaurants in all of the British Virgin Islands - and all of the Caribbean.
Rated by Dr. B. on 10/28/09 This is by far the best dining experience I have had on Tortola. The ambiance, location, lighting, service, food presentation and taste were comparable to any fine dining restaurant internationally. I celebrated my birthday there and was duly impressed. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning.
Rated by fulvio.berton on 05/16/09 Scopro con enorme piacere che il Brandywine non è un sogno di un vecchio ristoratore, ma la concretezza di un giovane, che nel mio ristorante a Mira, frequentato assiduamente dal padre Orazio, me ne decantava lo splendore!!! complimenti!! fulvio.berton@alice.it
Rated by Cynthia on 05/31/06 Brandywine is one of the finest dining experiences I have ever had. Davide, the chef and owner is is just as original as his cuisine.
Rated by Marnie deJour on 03/23/06 Extremely beautiful place, pretty good service, the food is good. Its great for the BVI, but not for $250 for two people including a $50 bottle of wine. Its just not worth that kind of money. Davide also owns Cappricio di Mare in Road Town which is a proper little Italian cafe with excellent food at excellent prices and is the better deal.

Rated by Don & Babs Healy on 03/20/06 We began our BVI vacation by dining at Brandywine Bay Restaurant. Absolutely the best decision we made! Great food, wonderful environment and VERY relaxing. We held all other dining events up to the standard that Brandywine Bay set.
Rated by laurie johnson on 03/13/06 A visit to Brandywine Bay Restaurant on the final day of our sailing holiday in the BVI is a must do. The experience and majical setting has only one equal and that is the meal prepared by Chef Davide.
