Right on the beach, this bilevel restaurant-bar is hopping day and night. Chowder made with fresh Anegada lobsters is the specialty, though the menu includes everything from hamburgers to fruit platters and vegetarian dishes to grilled shrimp, steak, and tuna. There's live entertainment on Friday, Sunday, and Monday nights. Reservations not accepted.
Rated by Marnie deJour on 03/23/06 This is a tourist trap. My local friends said they wouldn't eat there, so I went by myself one evening (it really looks like a lovely place on the beach, very pretty). The food is really expensive and not very good at all and if you are a woman on your own there are all sorts of beach 'boys' (and taxi drivers) who are obnoxiously and persistently forward.
