Rated by Phil on 08/02/09 Hello, I have used TMM, the Moorings and Sunsail for various charters. I can say with complete ease that going with TMM would be a HUGE mistake. When I chartered with them in Belize, they gave me a boat that was close to being retired (4 weeks away). They were not able to rectify any problems that we encountered, and where quick to blame us for any issues we encountered. \
I can also say the Sunsail and the Moorings are MUCH more accomodating, and professional. I would use them again, where as if I had to use TMM, I would rather go skiing or some other place.
In particular, I can say that Tim Johnson in Lake Geneva is absolutely one of the most unprofessional people you can meet in the business. The way it works is that he is just a basicv sales person who has no influence over the condition of the boats or the experience of your trip. If you go to him for help he will claim "öperator error" and hand you off to the local people who just dont care. There is no sense of responsibility or caring for the customer at TMM, and I would highly advise against using them.
