Rated by G. Ramos Martin on 07/22/05 Chartered a Horizon 56. Got what I was told to be a 4 year-old yact that looked 14 years old. Well kept mechanically but VERY worn down. Generator stopped on us while on a near-by island and was fixed in about one hour! They sent a chase boat with two mechanics. Yatch behaved like an oversized trawler without the comforts that most trawlers have. No towel racks or clothe hooks in rooms or bathrooms. Very slow and heavy. In spite of their claims, cruising speed is about 11 kts. and full speed about 15. They miss no oportunity to add to the already highly expensive charter (over $11,000 for 10 off-season days). We were charged $35 for renting a $50 icebox and $75 to repair a line of stitches in the worn down bimini that gave away in a gust of wind. I strongly disagree with the statement that these boats could be regarded as " the finest Fleet available today anywhere in the Caribbean" I would fear the worse ones!
