Necker Island

Necker Island is located in British Virgin Islands, Private Islands.

Sir Richard Branson's Necker Island Great House was destroyed in a fire in August, 2011. We are happy that no on was injured and wish Sir Richard the best of luck with the rebuilding process.

From the air Necker Island is a raw emerald anchored in a pool of turquoise. The verdant peak slopes gently downward to the azure and sapphire hues of the Caribbean Sea. Tapering sandbars and shallow coves punctuate the shoreline, and flat planes of sugar-white sand form an almost unbroken garland of pristine beaches.

Like a vision of Eden, Necker Island juts up from the ocean a mile north of Virgin Gorda in the celebrated British Virgin Islands.

Necker Island has the best of both worlds: an exciting choice of recreational pursuits for the athletically inclined, or the privacy and privilege to do nothing but bask in the glow of this perfect tropical idyll.
