The Crab Hole
This is a clean and decent West Indian restaurant, far removed from the expense and glitter of such resorts as Little Dix Bay and Biras Creek Estate in the private home of Kenroy and Janet Millington (look for a concrete house surrounded by fields and other simple private dwellings). Order your food from the chalkboard posted above the bar. They have their good days and their bad days here, depending on what the market turned up. You might get stewed whelk with a Creole sauce made from local spices or tomatoes, perhaps stewed chicken, and most definitely fried fish. Stewed oxtail is sometimes on the menu, and guests, often hotel workers in the area, drop in for a noontime hamburger.
