The food here is wonderful. Be prepared to pay $18+ for a larger than personal size pizza.

I am not sure why we drew the unlucky straw as many beofre us have recommended this restaurant. Maybe we should have ordered pizza since that seems to be the limits of their culinary expertise. We ate at Georgio's in Feb 2008 and would, without hesitation, NOT recommend it to other travelers. We had 4 out of 6 entrees go back to the kitchen because the seafood tasted so "fishy" it was inedible. Definitely not even close to being fresh which suprised us being that we were there in high season. New meal selections were brought to replace the ones we sent back and all were mediocre but slightly better than what we had been presented with the first time. My friend had the Lobster Risotto which was edible but the risotto was so bland, lack luster, and over cooked, it was like paste. There may have been 1 oz of lobster on this 40 something dollar entree.

The service was absoulutely awesome until we complained about the quality of the food. It seemed like they were insulted that we asked to send some of our meals back to the kitchen.

The location is spectacular which is, I guess, how they must be able to stay alive and popular among the "one hit" traveling crowd. We were in BVI for 3 weeks and this was supposed to be the highlight of our trip from a culinary standpoint as the restaurant had been reviewed with such high regard. I hate to be so harsh but this was the absolute worst meal that we had while in The BVI and quite possibly the worst meal I have had anywhere in quite some time. Everybody can have a bad night, it happens, and I understand that. But when 4 out of 6 entrees come out bad and we were charged for the food that we sent back, that is just intolerable. They told us that they could not change it once it was in their system and we would have to pay for the food that we sent back as well as the replacement meals. 6 of us and not even a bottle of wine uncorked and the bill was well over $850.00 for food that not one person in our party enjoyed.

None of us hesitate at spending a large amount for a quality meal and we all often do. But this was not a night that any of us felt anything other than the fact that we had paid very good money for very bad food and horrible service after the sale. A very sad and dissapointing ending to our trip to say the least. An even sadder statement to the quality of staff and food at what was supposed to be and reads like a 5 star restaurant. Two very large thumbs down on Georgio's Table I am sorry to say.

they dont serve pizza at night otherwise its really good.
