Mad Dog's
This is the most skillful and charming reconstruction of a West Indian cottage on Virgin Gorda. The wide veranda and the brightly painted 19th-century wooden timbers and clapboards create a cozy and convivial drink and sandwich bar. The piņa coladas are absolutely divine. The owner and supervisor of this laid-back place is London-born Colin McCullough, a self-described "mad dog" who sailed the British Virgin Islands for almost 30 years before establishing his domain here.

Rated by Jennifer on 04/16/08 This is a great spot to stop for a quick bite when visiting the Baths. It is a super casual, inexpensive, and very small sandwich stop with a wrap around deck and roosters running around outside. Definitely one of a kind.

Rated by lee on 03/24/04 A wonderful place on a wonderful island. This is a local haunt. The food is great and, yes, the pina coladas are the best you have ever experienced. We have visited Virgin Gorda at least a dozen times and we never miss Mad Dog's. Also, we have, at times, purchased pina coladas "to go" and taken them to a nearby beach to share with our visiting neighbors! This is a one of a kind and we wouldn't miss it while on Virgin Gorda!
